Conor McGregor has surrendered himself to New York police after crashing the UFC’s media day on Thursday at the Barclays Center and attacking a bus and was charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief.

McGregor walked out of Brooklyn’s 78th precinct on Friday morning.

The debacle first started after UFC president Dana White announced that McGregor will no longer be the lightweight champion when the Octagon door closes for the UFC 223 bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov. The winner of that fight, White said Thursday, will be the undisputed lightweight champion.
After airing his grievances with the UFC on Twitter, McGregor crashed the media day at the Brooklyn arena, getting into altercations with multiple fighters there.
